Wengang Wu

Wengang Wu received the B.S. degree in electronic engineering from Fudan University, Shanghai, China, in 1989 and the Ph.D. degree from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xi’an, China, in 1995, majoring in microelectronics. He joined the Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in 1995 working on III-V infrared photodetectors. In 1997, he joined the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) also as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow working on SiGe quantum dots and AlGaN/GaN HEMTs. He is currently with the Institute of Microelectronics, Peking University, Beijing, China, as a Professor with research interesting in MEMS/NEMS and nano-electronics. He is also serving as Vice Dean of the School of Electronics Engineering and Computer Science, Peking University.
Dr. Wu has authored and co-authored over 90 research papers on semiconductor materials, devices, and processing.
