Venice can be reached by

AIRPLANE: The Marco Polo Airport (www.veniceairport.it) is well connected to Venice by train, by bus or by the "Alilaguna" boat service.

CAR: Visitors arriving in Venice by car are obliged to leave it in parking lots located in Mestre or in Piazzale Roma (www.asmvenezia.it): cars cannot circulate in Venice and transportation is made only by boat.
