Dr. Ki-Hun Jeong

Dr. Ki-Hun Jeong is currently an assistant professor in the department of Biosystems at KAIST since December, 2006. He recieved his B.S. and M.S degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Sung Kyun Kwan University, Korea, respectively in 1996 and in 1998. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from University of California at Berkeley in 2005, where he worked on biophotonic MEMS with Prof. Luke P. Lee in the department of Bioengineering. He was also a postdoctoral research associate in the department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley, where he developed MEMS catheters for endoscopic optical coherence tomography with Prof. Ming C. Wu. He is now supervising Biophotonics Lab at KAIST and his current research interest is biophotonic MEMS/NEMS enabled Biophotonics and biomimetics.
